Description

A Bespoke House number Tile made using the tube lined technique. Liquid clay is hand piped onto each tile to produce a raised line which works as a relief against rich, translucent coloured glazes. Every product is therefore individual and a piece of artwork in its own right. The number and font can be changed.

Dimensions: 152mm x 102 mm (6" x 4")

Tubelined Technique

Liquid clay is hand piped by an expert craftsperson onto each tile to produce a raised line which works as a relief.

Areas between the lines are then painted with coloured glazes.

The tile is then placed into a kiln and fired, where the glazes colour will change substantially.

Handmade in Britain

Our custom ceramics are made at Jackfield Tile Works in Ironbridge, Shropshire, it’s the oldest surviving purpose built tile factory in the world dating back to 1872.
